YOUR INSURANCE VOICE ON THE PENINSULA

In these times of economic uncertainty, some clients are facing challenges maintaining affordable premium coverage. Quite often the discussions involve looking for cheaper direct insurance cover options. It’s important to note that many of these cheaper options mean a reduction in coverage that you may not be aware of.

Insurance policies are not all the same, and it’s  vital that you understand the vast difference between a premium policy and a regular one. For example, many direct car insurers don’t offer you a choice of repairer, and many home insurance policies have low levels of cover for rebuilding should you have to upgrade your home due to new building guidelines (bushfire ratings, for example).

The truth is that inflation, rising construction costs and worldwide supply chain issues are creating a perfect storm of rates increasing, in some cases in excess of 30%.

Our job at Bricher Insurance is to communicate with you and clearly outline the differences in the policies, where you can save some money on policies, and most importantly ensure you understand any associated risks with a reduction in policy coverage.

A consequence of a tougher market is that policy claims service becomes much tighter, so now more than ever you need a broker who manages your claim and takes a tough stance on your behalf to ensure you get exactly what you’re paying for with your policy.

When you are looking at your insurance policy, please look at your cover first before the premium. It could cost you thousands at claim time if the coverage is not right for your circumstances.

Bricher Insurance offers:

Business Insurance / Commercial Property Owner / Landlords / Motor Vehicle / Home and Contents / Marine / Professional Indemnity / Management Liability / Industrial Special Risks (ISR)
